Downey Jr receives Hollywood star

Robert Downey Jr. is among a new list of stars to be honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Other actors receiving Hollywood stars include Ralph Fiennes, Sir Ben Kingsley, Hugh Jackman, Cameron Diaz and director Tim Burton.

1970s disco act The Village People, pop singer Shakira and Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman will also be honoured.

The stars, which were selected by The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee, will be unveiled in 2009.
