Ben Stiller: 'I don't think I'm funny'

Ben Stiller has confessed that he isn't funny away from the movie set.

The 42-year-old, who has starred in a host of hit comedy films, admitted that his off-screen personality is largely different to his film characters.

"I don't think I'm super-funny," he is quoted as saying. "I'm not the type of guy who goes around cracking jokes a lot. I'm probably not that funny in person. I am much more comfortable just making a movie.

"I love to laugh but I've never enjoyed having to be the guy who's funny because it's a lot of pressure."

Stiller will next be seen in the war comedy Tropic Thunder, a film he also co-wrote and directed.
