Snow interviews strippers for film role

Brittany Snow has revealed that she interviewed strippers to help learn about her new movie role.

The actress plays a prostitute in Finding Amanda and wanted to immerse herself in the character.

"It was really eye-opening," she told the New York Daily News. "I probably ended up talking to one girl for three hours. I felt like I knew her at the end of it.

"She looked exactly like me. She was so sweet and was so articulate and had so much to say."

When asked whether she would ever have considered a career as a stripper, she answered: "Would I ever [strip]? I don't know. I don't think I would do it because I'm too shy. Way too shy. Which is good."

Snow also claimed that she is now confident about playing "more complex" characters on screen.

"I was really shy of certain things, but now I feel like I'm a little bit more in touch with playing girls that are more complex, more broken maybe," she added.
