A photographer is said to be taking legal advice after alleging that Sky News presenter Kay Burley assaulted her.
The newsreader was accused of an "unprovoked attack" on Associated Press snapper Kirsty Wigglesworth outside Naomi Campbell's recent trial.
She was pictured with her hand around the photographer's neck during the media scrum at Friday's hearing at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court, West London.
Burley turned up at Ascot with a black eye yesterday after claiming that Wigglesworth had accidentally struck her in the face with her camera.
AP said Wigglesworth is "sure" she that she did not hit Burley, adding: "[She] was the victim of an unprovoked and inexcusable attack."
