Richards: 'My children are in therapy'

Denise Richards has admitted that her daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen are receiving counselling.

The couple, who divorced in August 2006, are embroiled in an acrimonious custody battle and have been waging a war of words in the press.

Richards told In Touch that Sam, four, and three-year-old Lola attended a therapy session on June 19 to help them come to terms with the split.

She said: "My kids are in therapy. It’s very sad that they need to be there, but they do for now.

"If I can help anyone feel better about their kids being in therapy then something else good has come of this, too."

Sheen recently apologised after an answer machine message of him ranting at Richards leaked online.
