Madonna, Guy sleep in separate rooms

Madonna and Guy Ritchie slept in separate rooms to avoid annoying each other on a trip to Milan.

Ritchie was visiting Italy to work on a commercial with George Clooney, while Madonna toured Milan fashion houses selecting designs for her new world tour.

However, according to The Sun, the couple decided to book two bedrooms for the trip because they don't get on anymore.

"They had completely separate rooms, schedules, everything," said a source. "It is all very well organised but it’s not a marriage the way most people understand it.

"They have this attitude like 'we're not really a couple but we’re friends and we love each other and raise our kids'.

"But the truth is they p*ss each other off, don’t agree on anything, don’t see each other or live 'together' as they did. They are like ships passing in the night."

The source added: "Most couples would have made the most of the romantic city but there was hardly any contact between them. Madonna quickly flew back to NY to join her kids."

It was reported yesterday that Madonna and Ritchie are planning to divorce in November when she concludes her Sticky And Sweet tour.
