'In Bruges'
The actor's relationship with Emma Forrest, an author and journalist living in LA, is said to have curbed his partying lifestyle.
The couple met through Farrell's In Bruges director Martin McDonagh, according to The Sun.
A source said: "Colin is a changed man. He has knocked the boozing on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way.
"Emma has been a steadying influence and they have hit it off big time. They have spent months trying to keep the relationship under wraps because they are falling madly in love."
The insider added that the pair plan to move in together in LA during Farrell's next break from filming.
It was recently reported that the star had married rumoured girlfriend Muireann McDonnell after he was spotted at LA airport wearing a ring on his wedding finger.
