Lily Allen denies press vendetta

Lily Allen has denied claims that she has a vendetta against the British press.

The singer has been seen as having a hostile relationship with the media after contradicting a number of untrue reports written about her. However, she has now claimed that she understands reporters are just doing their job.

"I don't have any fury against the press at all. I think the press have a job to do," Lily explained. "I'm not angry with them but sometimes they write things that aren't true and I think I have a right to tell my side of the story."

Allen recently admitted that she is "scared" of her eager fans.
