Peaches snubs Glasto to change image

Peaches Geldof avoided the Glastonbury festival this year in an attempt to improve her reputation.

Following months of bad publicity surrounding her lifestyle, the 19-year-old recently announced that she was ditching her party girl image.

Geldof stayed true to her word at the weekend by refusing to attend the music festival, despite being offered VIP passes. Instead, she enjoyed a day out at Thorpe Park with her boyfriend Faris Rotter and their friends.

Meanwhile, Peaches is celebrating after being told that she has been chosen to present ITV's coverage of the forthcoming iTunes Festival.

A source told the Daily Star: "She's tried really hard to change her image and the TV deal is proof that she's now grown into an upstanding young woman."
