Pregnant Jolie checks into hospital

Angelina Jolie has checked into hospital in the South of France to give birth to twins.

The 33-year-old was admitted to the Lenval Hospital in Nice yesterday, where she is likely to remain until the babies arrive.

Lenval spokeswoman Nadine Bauer said Jolie is not expected to give birth immediately, telling the
Associated Press: "There's no urgency. It's been planned for a long time. She's very well. Everything is fine."

The actress and partner Brad Pitt already have two-year-old biological daughter Shiloh, as well as three adopted children.
