Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have participated in a charity poker event benefiting the Darfur region of Sudan.

The no-limit Texas Hold'Em game at the Rio Pavilion, Las Vegas will help the victims of the humanitarian crisis in the region.

It was the second annual Ante Up For Africa event organised by Don Cheadle, which last year raised $850,000.

Other celebrities involved in the tournament on Wednesday included Adam Sandler, Ray Romano, George Lopez and Jason Alexander.

The entrance fee for the event was $5,000, with all proceeds going to the Not On Our Watch advocacy and aid group, which was founded by Cheadle, Damon, George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
