Mario Lopez has turned down an offer to pose naked for Playgirl magazine.

The former Saved By The Bell actor was approached with a $200,000 deal after his toned physique received attention in the US tabloids recently.

However, Lopez has confirmed: "It's not something for me at the moment."

The 34-year-old star, still best known for his role as A.C. Slater in the high school sitcom, is currently appearing in Broadway play A Chorus Line.
