Gwyneth Paltrow cried during a recent Coldplay performance in New York, say reports.

According to OK!, Paltrow wept when the band performed the hit 'Fix You' from their X&Y LP.

Singer Chris Martin wrote the song after Paltrow's father died in 2002. At one point in the track, he sings: "Tears stream down your face, when you lose something you cannot replace."

A source commented: "Gwyneth was whispering and clapping throughout the show. But when 'Fix You' started, she broke down in tears."

After the concert, Martin apparently comforted his wife by "pointing out all the things he had screwed up in the show".
