Dash: 'David Beckham was jealous of me'

Hip-hop mogul Damon Dash has claimed that David Beckham used to be jealous of him.

The record label boss said when he worked with Posh Spice in 2003, Beckham was concerned that they had more than a professional relationship.

He told The Mirror: "I wouldn't blame David if he was jealous. It's understandable. I was hanging out with his beautiful wife all the time.

"I think he thought there was something going on between the two of us. I know they had a conversation about it.

"But everyone knew we were just friends. But who can blame him? I'm a fly guy."

Dash helped Victoria Beckham record her double A-side single 'This Groove'/'Let Your Head Go', which charted at number three in the UK.
