Brand: Palmer is 'expensive work'

Russell Brand has said his relationship with US actress Teresa Palmer is proving "expensive work".

The comedian, who began dating the Restraint actress last month, told journalists at a charity lunch: "I'm so happy, I'm not looking for any other women to impregnate yet.

"It's expensive work, though. She keeps wanting necklaces and stuff."

Brand also confirmed that he is no longer planning a movie based on autobiography My Booky Wook.

"I was advised not to portray myself as a drug addict in America, where everyone seems to be squeaky clean," he said.
