Mayer 'did not see Aniston appeal'

John Mayer reportedly did not see the appeal of Jennifer Aniston before they met.

Mayer told ex-girlfriend Minka Kelly that he did not understand why the actress was so famous.

A friend of Kelly told OK!: "Throughout their relationship, John would often say: 'I really don’t get this Jennifer Aniston thing.'"

However, he had a change of heart when he met the Friends star earlier this year.

The source added: "Minka received a call from John prior to the story emerging. He apologised to [her] and said: 'Sorry but I’m in love.'"
