Duffy: 'Tom Jones isn't my dad'

Duffy has admitted that she doesn't understand why Americans mistake her for Tom Jones's daughter.

The 'Warwick Avenue' singer has claimed that people in the US assume that she is the offspring of fellow Welsh singer Jones.

Speaking on US radio, she explained: "I know I'm dealing with this on a daily basis. It's kind of bizarre. You've just got to let go and almost laugh at it because you can't control what people say or assume."

The soul star added that her father John, a pub landlord from Nefyn, is "such a sweet guy. I don't know if he has read the accusations about potential fatherhood".
