Fearne Cotton: 'I'm a tattoo addict'

Fearne Cotton has admitted to being a tattoo addict.

The TV presenter, whose body artwork now runs into double figures, told Glamour that she found the process of getting tattoos thrilling.

She said: "Seriously, if I wasn't on TV I'd have tattoos all over my whole body. I would go mental. I'm addicted to tattoos. I love the look, the process, the feeling of, 'Yes! I didn't pass out, I've just achieved something.' I have more than 11 now. Not that my mother knows."

Cotton added that she got her latest tattoo in Los Angeles, but couldn't have it etched on her arm due to objections from TV producers.

"It covers most of my back at the bottom and it's a '50s pin-up mermaid, lovely boobs, beautiful," she commented. "I love Amy Winehouse's tattoos but I can't do arms. I can't do Children In Need with a naked chick on my arm, can I?"
