The actor, 68, who currently resides in Santa Barbara, is under investigation for tax evasion.
According to reports, officials have asked the IRS in the US to obtain Hogan's bank records.
Speaking outside his home, he said: "Come and get me, you miserable b**tards. I don't give a s**t about it - I've got nothing to worry about.
"I've paid more than every cent I owe, I paid too much, I paid tax there when I didn't have to."
He added: "They should build a statue of me up there at the tax office."
Hogan told Australia's Ten Network that he will return to the country to start work on a film in September despite the controversy.
"I'll be arrested the minute I land on the shore, of course, but I have a gun; so be warned," he joked.
