Theron: 'Sex scenes are not fun'

Charlize Theron has claimed that shooting sex scenes is too "technical" to enjoy.

The actress, 32, said that many people don't realise how awkward filming romantic movie scenes can be.

"It's not a sexy free for all," she told Parade. "It's not show up and get busy and hopefully the camera will catch it.

"And there really is no room for anything except occasional awkwardness and giggles"

She continued: "I think people forget how technical those scenes are, more technical than anything else that you'll ever do in acting."

Theron also revealed that she always insists on having a clause in her contract that allows her to remove scenes she deems inappropriate for the movie.
