Bale feels "angry" over Ledger's death

Christian Bale has admitted that he still feels "angry" over the death of his Batman co-star Heath Ledger.

The actor explained that he enjoyed getting to know Ledger on the set of The Dark Knight and is disappointed that he was not given a chance to develop their friendship.

"He was a fantastic guy, we had a lot of fun on set," Bale revealed. "Yes, he immersed himself into the film completely, but, at the same time, he was so easy-going.

"Heath was infectious; his death makes me angry because I know our friendship would have blossomed had he not died."

Ledger, who played The Joker in the movie, died in January following an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
