McGregor: 'I washed with baby wipes'

Ewan McGregor has revealed that he was forced to wash with baby wipes on his last motorcycle adventure.

The actor and friend Charley Boorman journeyed from Scotland to Cape Horn, Africa, last summer for their TV show Long Way Down.

McGregor claimed that he was desperate to take a bath but refused to jump into the water for fear of being attacked by crocodiles.

"You lower your standard, but you get by," he told Outside magazine. "You always come across rivers (in Africa) but you don't want to jump into just any one, because there could be crocs.

"We also carried baby wipes. That's a handy way to keep clean."
