Cassidy 'in tears over weight gain'

Former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has been crying after failing to maintain a slim figure, according to a report.

The actress's fitness video became the quickest-selling ever over Christmas after a strict diet and exercise regime saw her shed a large amount of weight.

However, in recent weeks reports have noted her size-eight look appearing to slip. A source told Closer magazine: "Natalie says the weight loss was too good to be true.

"She had a dream body she couldn't maintain. She spent last weekend in tears about putting on weight. All that hard work has gone. It took months to lose it and weeks to put it back on."

Despite the tears, the source said Cassidy has come to terms with her shape, revealing: "She says 'My family's curvy, I'm naturally curvy - what's the point in fighting it'.

"She feels embarrassed. She didn't want to be one of those celebs who made a DVD and then stopped practising what they preached. She's realised we're not all built the same."
