Others she has recruited to the project include Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Teresa May, Shami Chakrabarti and Ronni Ancona.
Sarpong said: "I think the thing is there aren't enough women that are being allowed to be engaged. And we are interested in this stuff, it's just that it's not packaged in a way that relates to us.
"I was in the States and I had a meeting with NBC News and they were asking me what I wanted to do and when I told them they said 'Well are you doing it online?' I said actually I'm not. They said 'You know what - you should be' and that's how the idea came about."
The ex-T4 host continued: "Then I thought wouldn't it be great to get some of the women that I know and that I've interviewed over the years involved, blogging about stuff that matters to them.
"I started making phone calls and emailing and luckily so many people said yes - in fact they all said yes."
