Tom Cruise sends flowers to Kidman

Tom Cruise sent a massive selection of flowers to his ex-wife Nicole Kidman after hearing that she had given birth earlier this week.

Kidman and her husband Keith Urban welcomed the arrival of their first child, a baby girl, in Nashville on Monday morning. They decided to name their daughter Sunday Rose Kidman.

The Australian actress already had two adopted children, 15-year-old Isabella and 13-year-old Conor, from her marriage to Cruise.

"She has had hundreds of bouquets of flowers from well-wishers," a source told The Mirror. "Tom was one of the first people to get in touch and he sent her enough flowers to fill a room.

"Even Australia's Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, sent her a hand-written note. She's touched and amazed by it all."
