Allen installs panic button in new flat

Lily Allen has installed a panic button and metal window guards in her new flat.

The 23-year-old popstar reportedly took the extra security measures because she fears living on her own.

Allen wrote in her MySpace blog: "I've been in my new flat a week and it's been an OK move. I've been sofa surfing and living in hotels for two years so it's really weird being in this place alone."

She added: "Don't get too excited, burglars, I've got metal roller blinds that go down at night and a panic button by my bed. No panic room though... food for thought."
