Madonna to attend Rodriguez's party

Madonna is reportedly planning to attend a party hosted by Alex Rodriguez, the US baseball star she has been accused of having an affair with.

The Queen of Pop recently denied having any involvement in the sportsman's split from his wife Cynthia, following claims to the contrary in newspapers and from Cynthia's lawyers.

Despite the controversy surrounding the allegations, Madonna is believed to have confirmed she will attend a 2008 Major League AllStar Game party which is being thrown by the New York Yankees player next week.

An insider told Life & Style magazine: "Madonna knows about the party and has said she is coming... She is a confirmed guest."

Madonna has also recently denied claims that she is planning to divorce Guy Ritchie, following weeks of speculation about their marriage.
