Allen explains reasons for hair change

Lily Allen decided to ditch her pink hairdo out of respect for her deceased grandmother, she has revealed.

The singer dyed her hair back to dark brown because she felt it would have been inappropriate to attend her gran's funeral with pink locks.

"It has been a tough week," Allen explained. "My nan and I were close and even though she had been very ill for the last few years, it was a big shock. She would have killed me if I went to her funeral with pink hair."

Lily learned that her grandmother had passed away while she was at the Glastonbury festival last month. She has reportedly since reunited with her ex-boyfriend Ed Simons.
