The Weakest Link host admitted to driving at 43mph in a 30mph zone in Portsmouth during August last year.
She didn't attend today's hearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.
Robinson was handed a £100 fine, £50 costs and received four penalty points. She is now disqualified from driving because she already has nine points from three previous speeding convictions.
Magistrate Peter Mellor commented: "I am sorry she won't have a very pleasant memory of her first visit to Portsmouth."
The TV personality's representative Michael McGoldrick apologised for "taking up the court's time" and claimed that Robinson had been disorientated by the road system.
He also said that the six-month ban would create a "significant inconvenience" for Robinson because she regularly travels between 40,000 and 50,000 miles a year in her car.
