Rod Stewart 'angry with Jude Law'

Rod Stewart wants to punish Jude Law for upsetting his daughter Kimberly, say reports.

According to The Mirror, the veteran rocker wasn't happy when he discovered last month that Kimberley was having a relationship with the actor.

Stewart was willing to accept the romance for the sake of Kimberly, but since reports have surfaced linking Law to model Lily Cole, the singer has apparently vowed to confront the Alfie star.

"He loves Kimberly to bits and is very much the protective father," said a source.

"Obviously he wasn't thrilled by the photos of Kim and Jude all over one another but he got over it pretty quickly.

"He likes Jude a lot and approved of him as a potential suitor for his little girl. Problem is, so did Kimberly. She thought something might develop between them."

The source added: "Now that Jude has been linked to Lily, Rod is upset on his daughter's behalf. No father wants to see their child humiliated and hurt, and, to an outsider, this is exactly what has happened."
