Amy Winehouse praises "best thing" Blake

Amy Winehouse has described her jailed husband as "the best thing" to happen in her life.

Speaking to fans at the launch of her own club night on Thursday, the troubled star confirmed that she plans to reunite with Blake Fielder-Civil when he is released from prison. The future of their rocky relationship had appeared unclear in May after they were both accused of cheating on each other.

Fielder-Civil will be sentenced on July 21. He has pleaded guilty to charges of GBH and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

According to The Sun, Winehouse revealed: "Blake's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I live for visits, even when they're behind glass. My Blake will be out in 11 days. That's all I care about. He's my best friend, he's everything to me."

She added: "I've been listening to loads of songs. I sob my heart out to Elvis's 'She's Not You'. I've got a song for every occasion."

Amy's father Mitch has claimed that Blake will check into rehab when he is released from prison.
