Ronnie Wood 'ignores pleas from family'

Ronnie Wood has refused to listen to family members who want him to check into rehab.

The Rolling Stone has sparked fears for his wellbeing by fleeing to Ireland with his teenage lover Ekaterina Ivanova.

Jo Wood, his wife of 23 years, blamed alcohol abuse for the star's behaviour at the weekend.

"It's so sad. He is in a really bad place at the moment," a source told The Mirror. "All the kids have rallied around Jo and are furious with their dad. He won't answer calls - he doesn't want to hear them tell him to stop drinking."

Ronnie's son Tyrone is now expected to travel to Ireland this week for a confrontation with his wayward father.

The insider added: "It was decided the only way to knock some sense into Ronnie is go out there and physically shake it into him."
