Katona compares Priory to Butlins camp

Kerry Katona has said that visiting the Priory rehab clinic is like going on holiday to Butlins.

The reality TV star, who checked in to the centre in March, denied her attendance at the clinic was anything to do with drugs or drink.

"It's like a holiday camp at The Priory, it's like going to Butlins for the weekend," said Katona.

"It's a place to recharge your batteries. People think The Priory is just about drink and drugs but they have people with different illnesses there."

Speaking on her new show Kerry Katona: The Afterbirth, she also rubbished reports that her husband Mark Croft cheated on her with 29-year-old Samantha Riaz earlier this year.

"Why would he go out for a burger when he's got steak at home?" said Katona.

Kerry Katona: The Afterbirth airs on July 27 at 9pm.
