Ronnie Wood's romance with teen 'not over'

Ronnie Wood's teenage girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova has told her family that her relationship with the Rolling Stone is not over.

The 18-year-old Russian bargirl had been spending time in Ireland with Ronnie before he checked in to rehab yesterday. She is now staying with friends in London.

Ekaterina's mother Irina told the Daily Mail: "She loves him. She is so proud to be next to him. It's not because of the money he has. It's because of the personality he has. She doesn't say 'I love him' she will only say 'I like him'. But I know my daughter and I think yes, she loves him."

"I don't think they are completely over. But she will not do the running," Irina continued. "She will not make the first step to meet him again. She does not need to go to rehab. She is not an alcoholic."

Ekaterina, known to her loved ones as Katia, has insisted that she did not have sex with Ronnie during their time together, but her mother does not believe her.

Irina confirmed: "Katia told me 'Believe me mother, I have done nothing wrong'. But she is my daughter. I know her voice, I know the intonation that she was lying to me."
