Alison Mosshart wins over Moss's friends

Kate Moss's rivalry with Alison Mosshart is expected to worsen after the singer won over some of her best friends.

The supermodel's recent split from musician Jamie Hince was reportedly sparked by her jealousy of Mosshart, who is Hince's bandmate in indie rock group The Kills.

Alison risked angering Kate further by attending Primal Scream's Beautiful Future album launch party this week. The band is fronted by Bobby Gillespie, one of Moss's closest pals.

While at the bash, the singer also made friends with Kate's hairdresser James Brown. When Alison complained that she has few pals to party with, Brown told her: "You should just call us any time you want to go out."

A source told The Mirror: "Kate will be furious. First she has to share Jamie with her and now she is trying to pinch her mates."

Moss is currently on holiday in Sardinia with Davinia Taylor.
