Longoria 'putting on weight for TV'

Eva Longoria has put on weight for a TV role, claims her publicist.

A representative for the American actress, 33, denied rumours that she is expecting her first child with husband Tony Parker.

Longoria's spokesperson insisted that any noticeable increase in size was because her Desperate Housewives character Gabby Solis requires a fuller figure in the fifth season.

"She is not pregnant," she told The Sun. "Eva's making herself look like that as her character has let herself go."
