Aniston wants to play Cyrus's mum

Jennifer Aniston wants to play Miley Cyrus's mum in a new film, reports claim.

Aniston is hoping to persuade the Hannah Montana star to join the cast of a movie she is developing through her production company Echo Films, according to Star.

The story will revolve around the relationship between a domineering mother and her teenage daughter, an up-and-coming singer.

The actress reportedly told a friend: "I approached Miley about it, and she thinks it's a very cool idea."

The pair are said to have had several discussions about the project and Aniston is now looking for writers with Cyrus in mind for the role.

Cyrus, 15, is currently wrapping up filming for Hannah Montana: The Movie.
