Kerry Katona explains Iceland's loyalty

Kerry Katona has claimed that Iceland sticks by her because it "knows the truth" about her lifestyle.

Tabloids speculated that Katona would be axed from the supermarket chain's ads in January following a series of claims that she is a drug addict and bad mother. The reality TV star fiercely denied the allegations.

Despite the lurid accusations, Katona has insisted that her association with Iceland has "done favours" for the supermarket.

"Of course they worried. But they know the truth," Katona told The Mirror. "I've done a lot of favours for Iceland and they've done a lot of favours for me and they've stuck by me. Yes I have done drugs and I was quite hooked on them for a while - but that was almost five years ago now. And I've never failed to live it down."

She added: "I don't leave my house and mix in the showbiz world. I'm not around that kind of thing anymore. The last time I got offered cocaine was when I was in Warrington when I was around my mum."

Katona's former friend Katie Price recently urged her to leave her husband Mark Croft.
