Jolie, twins leave hospital 'via kitchen'

Angelina Jolie and her newborn twins have left hospital in France - apparently taking a route via the kitchen to avoid waiting paparazzi.

The film star and babies Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline left at 4.30am yesterday, the Lenval hospital in Nice confirmed.

Jolie and partner Brad Pitt are believed to have sold rights to the first photographs of the twins to a US magazine.

They are expected to donate the proceeds, in the region of $11 million, to charity.
