Madonna, Guy plan another show of unity

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have vowed to silence British press speculation about the state of their marriage, according to a report.

The couple have made a number of public appearances together in New York recently, following persistent rumours that they are planning to divorce. Despite their efforts, newspapers have continued to report that the pair will make an official split announcement in November.

Madonna, who starts her Sticky and Sweet world tour next month, has now decided to show her commitment to Guy by attending his forthcoming RocknRolla film premiere in London. They will also appear in public together for Guy's 40th birthday on September 10.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Madonna has rearranged her schedule to attend both Guy's premiere and his birthday. She will be performing at Wembley on September 11 which will allow her time with Guy and the children for his birthday. During the week of Guy's premiere, she will be in Germany and Rome but both dates will be via London.

"Guy expects her to be at the premiere. He has put so much into this project. RocknRolla is actually named after their children Rocco and Lola."

Madonna insisted that she has no plans to divorce Ritchie earlier this month.
