Macca introduces new girlfriend to pals

Sir Paul McCartney has introduced his new girlfriend Nancy Shevell to his closest friends, according to a report.

The Beatles legend decided to step their relationship up a gear by arranging a special dinner for Nancy to meet his "inner circle".

"He is clearly very much in love and was as proud as punch that it went so well," a source told The Mirror. "It was plain to see that their relationship has come on in leaps and bounds.

"Whereas his priority at first was to keep everything relatively low-key, he now wants to show her off to all his pals. It went really well and Nancy was on sparkling form and charmed everyone."

Macca told his friends that he is "in love" with Nancy in May. The couple got together late last year as Paul recovered from his split with Heather Mills.
