Banhart's video for his new single 'Carmensita' is a Bollywood send-up features Portman dressed as a princess.
The actress, who is rumoured to be dating Banhart, has been spotted with the singer in New York's West Village and Israel.
Portman has previously been linked to Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gael Garcia Bernal.
