Pitt drives with daughter on his lap

A safety organisation has hit out at Brad Pitt after the actor was photographed driving with daughter Shiloh on his lap, says the Daily Mail.

Photographs of the 44-year-old behind the wheel of a golf buggy with Shiloh have prompted an angry response from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

A spokeswoman for the group said: "Children shouldn't be sitting on parents' laps when driving a vehicle because the child could be distraction to the driver. And should there be an accident the child would be put in a dangerous position."

She added: "Children should be in their own seat in the vehicle."

Popstar Britney Spears was similarly criticised after she was pictured driving with son Sean on her knee in 2006.
