Le Gallo apparently proposed to the actress with a diamond created by Beverly Hills designer Jean Dousset. The pair first met while attending acting classes seven years ago.
Speaking about their romance in March, Adams told the New Jersey Courier-Post: "It's really important to have someone to remind you who you are.
"I'll run all over but come back to him, and I know who I am."
