Christopher Ciccone has admitted that he released a tell-all memoir about sister Madonna because he wanted to "watch her squirm".
The TV chef recently said that the revelations in Life With My Sister Madonna, which was published earlier this month, had left the singer "very upset".
He said at the time that he had no desire to intentionally hurt her, but has now confessed that he enjoyed her discomfort.
The 47-year-old told MSNBC: "I will admit to a guilty pleasure in watching her squirm. [Releasing the book was like a] giant f**king orgasm. Therapy I already had; this was pure sex."
However, Ciccone, who is estranged from the popstar, claimed that some of the book's more controversial content was withdrawn on the advice of his legal team.
He said: "There are plenty of things I left out of the book. And things that the lawyers and editors took out."
