Brooke apologises for 'false' Hulk claims

Brooke Hogan has apologised for claims she made about her father Hulk abusing her mother.

The 20-year-old confirmed to People that she signed an affidavit accusing her dad, real name Terry Bollea, of verbally and physically abusing his wife Linda.

However, Brooke later asked for the document not to be filed and regretted the decision.

"I did it under significant pressure from my mother," she said. "It was only after I learned all the facts that I realised I made a big mistake in signing it."

The reality TV star's rep added: "Brooke Bollea is distressed at the latest efforts by mother Linda to fracture the family.

"This time they let leak out an old document that Brooke signed filled with exaggerations and fabrications about father Terry's behaviour during the marriage.

"The months-old document was signed by Brooke at a time when she was upset with her father."

Linda Hogan filed for divorce last November. Her attorney has not commented on the report.
