Avril Lavigne has decided to have her teeth corrected by a cosmetic dentist, say reports.
According to America's Star magazine, the singer wants her "fangs" reduced because they make her self-conscious.
"Avril hates her fangs," said a source. "She is planning on having them filed down by a cosmetic dentist.
"It's just something she has always been insecure about, especially since everyone is staring at her mouth when she sings."
Lavigne, who is married to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley, is currently touring her The Best Damn Thing album.
The insider added: "As soon as Avril finds some time to take off so it won't interfere with her singing, she's getting it done."
