Peaches Geldof faces iTunes axe?

Apple and ITV2 are reportedly considering dropping Peaches Geldof from presenting their coverage of the iTunes Festival.

Apple is said to be concerned by recent tabloid stories claiming that the 19-year-old socialite overdosed in her London flat.

Her agent denied the speculation, stating that Geldof collapsed from accidentally inhaling ammonia fumes from hair dye.

An insider told The Sun: "[Apple] were furious and have been in talks with ITV chiefs over whether to sack Peaches. They are a massive worldwide brand. If your audience is thousands of teens, you've got to be careful."

Geldof reportedly angered Alesha Dixon after she asked her about her ex-husband MC Harvey's affair with Javine Hylton during an earlier iTunes Festival interview.
