Winehouse hopes for 'Countdown' appearance

Amy Winehouse has revealed that she would like to be a contestant on Countdown.

The troubled singer named the Channel 4 game show as her favourite programme in an interview with OK! magazine.

Winehouse admitted: "I like Countdown. I would love to go on Countdown. On my life, I would love to go on Countdown!"

Amy also insisted that she is making improvements to her lifestyle since being diagnosed with emphysema.

"I am eating loads of healthy food, sleeping loads, playing on my guitar and making music," she said. "And writing letters to my husband Blake every day."
