Gazza back with Sheryl after rehab exit

Paul Gascoigne is back in the arms of his ex-wife Sheryl after leaving rehab, according to a report today.

The ex-footballer is believed to have made significant steps to recovery in The Priory clinic, where he received treatment for alcoholism. Although his rehab programme has now been completed, he will return for occasional day visits in the future.

Gascoigne is now being cared for by Sheryl following their recent reconciliation. He received frequent visits from his ex-wife during his time in the clinic and is even believed to be making plans to propose to her again.

"Sheryl's been a rock for Paul through these difficult times and is still standing by him," a source told The Mirror. "Over the past few months everyone's rallied around to give him the support he needs, none more so than Sheryl."

Gazza married Sheryl in 1996, but their relationship soon hit the rocks due to his violent behaviour. The couple divorced in 1998.
